About Me

I was first inspired as a very young child and encouraged by my family to pursue my calling in music.

As the founder of SagAquarius, I held the vision that when egos are set aside wonderment, passion, and brilliant, fun and creativity can take over. This permits the right group of musicians for the right project to get together to develop magical music. I've brought together a great group of talented cats as a core set and then we bring in other civilized  professionals as the gigs call for their talents to create the ultimate sound.

I performed in my first professional gig as a drummer with the youth choir at my church through Rev. D. Lathon and have since played with a countless number of choirs throughout Los Angeles. Talent afforded me wonderful opportunities to play with gospel musicians such as Andre & Sandra Crouch, and the O'Neal Twins. I've also enjoyed playing with other artists including Tony Bennett, Christina Agularia, Tobi The Hero Wilson, Obie Jessie, Life at 9000, Issac Halli Lasslie, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Ayers Tour CBS, Billy Mitchell, Joe Sample and others. I recently played at the Roxy with Delmar Brown, The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles for a Hurricane Katrina Relief Benefit and  Palidino's. Currently, along with playing with SagAqurius, I play with a number of bands including The Chamber Brothers, Bob's Yer Uncle, Total BS, The Los Angeles Drum Ensemble, Danzani and Mystic Pyramid, conduct music workshops and provide drum lessons for all age groups.

Being a musician is who I am. Playing the drums is my passion.

I am multi-faceted. With six planets in Aquarius, I am unconventional to say the lest.  I am a healer. Not just with my music, I am a Life Coach, a Reiki Master Healer/Teacher and a Massage Therapist. I am also an Ordained Minister, and Master Astrologist. Studying the mysteries of the universe, the music of the spheres and our connectedness motivates me to go beyond myself. Just as music moves us beyond ourselves, I have a personal commitment to move beyond myself and assist others in moving forward.  I see these avenues as a way to do just that.
